I had a little boy 15 months ago and had literally had MAYBE 7 nights of a good sleep during the entire 15 months because he suffered horribly from eczema and would wake up multiple times at night itching and upset. I have tried nearly everything (from plain coconut oil to (gasp) hydrocortisone for the itching at the recommendation of his pediatrician (I tried it once and couldn’t bring myself to put it on him again because I try REALLY hard to do things naturally). I eliminated things from his diet, I added bone broths and gut healing foods, and it improved slightly but his skin still looked awful with raised red patches from the neck down. My husband found this and ordered it and I did not expect anything different from the other 5 creams I have sitting on the dresser right now. I am FLOORED at the results of this cream. In less than 24 hours, the raised rash went away. There is still redness, but his skin is baby soft on his arms like it should be, not scaly. His legs and feet had the worst of it, but even they have significantly improved and it is completely gone from his toes. It has now been 3 days and he has slept through the night all three days. I was in tears the morning after the first night because I had not slept in MONTHS. I don’t know if it will work for someone else, but it is worth a shot. I will update if anything changes and will try and get photos of the improvements. I’m a skeptic. I am wary of big promises from skin care products. I discovered long ago the products usually have their most profound impact on my wallet. A few months ago, at age 55, I developed rosacea. I have spent a fair amount of money and time looking for a solution. The product that worked best dried my skin and still left some redness. I took a chance on Honeyskin. Within three days all redness was gone and has never come back. I have been using for about a month now on my face, décolleté and arms. No special routine, just apply in morning and at night like I would any other moisturizer. Here’s where I go so far as to say Miracle Cream”. I suffer from allergies and have always struggled with puffiness under my eyes. Also, with age I’ve noticed my skin bruises and scratches more easily. Since I am an avid gardener and mother of backyard chickens, I have perpetual bruises and scratches on my arms – not pretty. Well, a couple of weeks ago I noticed the puffiness under my eyes looked better and has stayed that way. Then last week I realized I had almost no visible bruises or scratches on my arms. Obviously this cream is not preventing bruises and scratches, they just seem to be healing faster. I can eliminate rosacea and eye cream from my list, which makes this very affordable. Don’t know if you will have same results, but I’d say it’s worth a shot. I really like the fact that this is a family owned company who produces products in the USA. I like the fact that the owners have searched the world over looking for quality natural ingredients to put into their cream. The list of ingredients is quite extensive. Because this cream is a mix of Manuka Honey, coconut oil, MSM, Hempseed & Olive Oil, Shea Butter, cocoa butter, aloe vera, shea butter, blue-green algae, Plumeria and Cehami…. Woah, there must be something in this cream that can help EVERYONE.
I found the price perfectly reasonable compared to substitutes who use water, petroleum and alcohol fillers in their products. I really like the fact that this product is NOT tested on animals.
I really like that there is a natural product to help out so many people with a wide variety of skin conditions and irritants.

Manuka Honey is simply honey which has only been made by a Manuka Tree.
Manuka tree is native to New Zealand. Manuka Honey differs from Generic Honey because it is significantly higher in an anti-bacterial compound called Methylglyoxal (MG). This compound has been known to promote the health of the digestive system and help wounds heal.
Manuka Honey also contains a number of other known bio-active antibacterial components, which when combined with Methylglyoxal (MG) gives manuka honey it’s very powerful anti-bacterial properties.
Because many of these compounds are sensitive to farming methods, heat and light, then the quantities of these compounds of Manuka Honey can vary dramatically from one source of Manuka Honey to the other.
The Unique Manuka Factor or UMF, represents the Total Antibacterial Power of a batch of Manuka Honey. (To get more information on the honey rating system, please click here.)
The higher the UMF factor, it indicates higher UMF abilities.
The UMF factor is often displayed on the jar and is considred to be a reliable medical measure of its antibacterial properties.
As most Manuka honey producers heat the honey to process it, many bio-active components are destroyed in the processing.
The top health Benefits of Manuka honey are:
Promote Digestive System Health
Helps to Heal Wounds
Powerful Antibacterial Properties
Unique Manuka Factor
Raw honey can be made from any plants and it is simply honey which has not been heated.
This means that any heat sensitive bio-active compounds are not destroyed in the processing.
Examples of these bio-active compounds are:
Bee-Defensin Which is a powerful anti-bacterial agent, which is know to promote digestive health.
Caffeic Acid Another phenolic compound which is a powerful anti-oxidant.
Catechins Another phenolic compound which is also found in green tea.
Catechins are also a known powerful anti-oxidant and are associated with protecting the cardio-vascular system.
Due to the natural variation in honey, there no guarantees as to how much of these beneficial compounds will be present in each jar of raw honey.
This makes it’s potency less reliable than Manuka Honey.
So in short, Manuka Honey is a powerful anti-bacterial agent, which is tested for potency. Whereas raw honey has much more beneficial compounds, but the quantity is not measured.
So in summary Manuka Honey v Raw Honey
Full of Beneficial Bio-Active compounds such as:
Promote digestive system health
Helps to heal wounds
Powerful Anti-bacterial properties
Unique Manuka Factor (UMF) / Antibacterial power
No Guarantee of Potency, Less reliable than Manuka Honey
Often processed using heat, destroying many beneficial bio-active compounds.

The company motto is “Our Heritage, Is Your Health”. This company philosophy of respect for the land and the environment shines through by their on-going respect for the principle of “kaitiakitanga” (the principle of guardianship over the natural environment) of the traditional Maori land owners.
They were recently voted the “Best Manuka Honey Health Brand 2016” at the Hong Kong Health Awards held late in 2016. This is a wonderful award to win, especially because this is a very tough international market. (source Kiwi Manuka, 2017)
Manuka Honey is considered a “Pre-biotic” and is great for improving your gut health.
This product has a Unique Manuka Honey (UMF) rating of UMF 15+. This is very high and certainly higher than many competitor’s products in this product category. Customers can be assured that it is a quality product.
This product carries the UMF trademark. This is the highest standard of Manuka Honey grading system available and is only given to companies with integrity and through quality practices. PLEASE do not be confused with the M / MG / MGO rating system which can be VERY confusing to customers.
Because this product carries the UMFHA trademarked logo, customers can be satisfied that the Manuka Honey has been independently tested in a laboratory for quality assurances and strength of the specific chemical compounds that make Manuka Honey unique.
This product also carried the Certified Manuka Originz, New Zealand. This trademark looks at the traceability and sustainability of authentic New Zealand products. Again, this second trademark can give consumers confidence that their product is authentic and of the highest quality. Click here to learn more.

Warning: This is the big one everyone should read – Propolis may cause severe allergic reactions in some people. If you have a propolis allergy, then this product is NOT for you.
Pregnant or Lactating women are advised to consult their health care practitioner before usage.
This product contains sugar and glucose syrup (from corn). Diabetics need to pause before consuming this product.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any nutritional information on these candies, as a result of this, Diabetics, people on a diet or people with very specific food issues (eg salt intake) need to minimize consumption of this product.
I liked this product. I thought it tasted lovely. It is winter at the moment in my part of world and I started to get a “tickle” in my throat and popped one of these candies. It was really nice to consume and hopefully, I won’t get a full blown cold and sore throat.
I like the fact that this company has a lot of trademarks and that they use sustainable harvesting methods to get their Manuka Honey. I like that the product is authentically from New Zealand. This company gives the appearance that they really care about their bees, plants and entire supply chain. I like that.
I like the product and thought it tasted great. I like that the level of Manuka is very high and that the company is fully licensed to produce this product.
For improvements, I think the packaging needs a Nutritional Table, but I understand that not all competitors in this space provide that.
I think it’s a great product and it will help a lot of people. I’m glad I had some in the pantry at home.

Number 1, it has a very good taste. It is full flavoured, I love it.
It has unique qualities in that it has antibacterial qualities.
You would take the product. You can take it by the spoonful. A lot of people take it everyday for just general good health.
You can mix it with other products, you can mix it with yoghurt. You can mix it in your tea. It’s a very good sweetener. It’s lovely to enhance the flavours, but it’s also good for you.
With the antibacterial qualities you have in the honey. It will develop good gut control, so you have good balance in your gut.
The key thing that Dr Peter Molan found was that it kills Helicobacter pylori. Helicobacter Pylori is the bacteria which is in your gut and it is the trigger that will create stomach ulcers. So if you are a person who has a high stress life, maybe you eat your food that is a little rich or a little strong, then maybe you should be eating Manuka Honey everyday. Particularly with a good UMF+ rating so that it keeps a balance in your gut and that your digestive system is really good.
It is excellent for sore throats. A good mix of Manuka Honey with maybe lemon juice or ginger with hot water.
And make sure it’s hot water. Don’t put boiling water in on your honey, because if you put boiling water in on your honey, then you will sterilize the honey and all the goodness, all the antibacterial qualities would be gone.
So just good hot water, mixed with whatever flavour you like and honey is a great tonic to have in the evening. I’ve got a lot of people who mix it with milk and they say it makes them sleep beautifully.

Have you ever stopped and wondered “What Is Manuka Honey?” I have.
Manuka honey has the highest levels of the special plant based immune system boosting nutrients phenol, which is what makes Manuka Honey so amazing.
This special ingredient found naturally in Manuka Honey is called methylglyoxal (MG / MGO) and that’s why Manuka honey is so highly regarded worldwide.
Have you ever wondered what the plant was that attracts the bees in the first place? If yes, then please click here. Have you ever been curious as to how bees go about making the wonderful substance we call honey? If yes please click here.
How do you like your honey?
Do you have it for breakfast for in smoothies or both?

Methylglyoxal (MG) is unique to Manuka Honey. We do no find a significant amount of this compound in any other honey, even in any other food, we cannot find methylglyoxal (MG). There are small amounts in roasted coffee, but the amounts are one or two orders of magnitude lower when compared with Manuka Honey.
I would rate Manuka Honey as a genuine, functional food. Of course, I know that there are many studies necessary, clinical studies in order to prove the benefits, but I am pretty sure that Manuka Honey are one of the few items, one of the few food items that such a beneficial effect can be shown.
Question: Why is Manuka Honey unique?
Answer: Due to the presence of methylglyoxal (MG)

Honey and Cinnamon are widely regarded as two of the oldest cooking ingredients still in everyday use. They have both successfully been used as a food medicine by many cultures for centuries. In modern times they are considered a common “staple” and found in almost everyone’s kitchen at home.
